Holly H. Miller

Holly designed and delivered enterprise-wide transformation initiatives during her 45-year investment management career, creating cost savings through streamlined operating models.  In addition to her roles leading global operations teams across traditional and alternative asset classes at Nuveen / TIAA and SEI, most recently Holly was a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where she advised commissioners and staff on buy-side operations considerations.  She worked on rulemaking, exam and enforcement issues and played a key role in oversight of the U.S. markets’ successful transition to T+1 settlement.  Holly is a recognized expert in operational risk, including co-authoring The Top Ten Operational Risks: A Survival Guide for Investment Managers and Hedge Funds.
